Prepared by Nuclear-Chicago Corporation for the United States Atomic Energy Commission’s Office of Isotopes Development (report TID-6374, dated Aug. 15, 1960). Includes introductions on safe handling, then detailed labs on Geiger-Mueller counters, absorption of gamma rays, ion exchange, qualitative and quantitative analysis, plus organic/physical chemistry and instrumentation/biochemistry sections. Measures about 11" x 8.5". Excellent reference for collectors of AEC/DOE publications and mid-century science education.
