In great condition, lightly used 3x/week for about 5 months. Paid $199 when new and it is currently sold out on Aer’s website. As of now (9/21) not expected to be back in stock until late October. With tags.
I know a lot of people are into the larger City Pack Pro, but if you don’t need all that capacity for your EDC then this is an awesome bag. It’s just a bit over-organized for my needs. I need to transfer too many things from bag to bag, so a simpler bag with a tech kit is working out better for me. But if you leave the same stuff in your bag day to day, the admin panel here is super great. I did love how easy it was to get items from the bag during the work day with this layout.
My favorite features of this bag: very comfortable straps and back panel, I like the look of the Ultra material and it held up really great on rainy days. I walk a half hour to work and nothing inside got wet even in a downpour. I also love the pop of color for many of the inside pockets you get with the Ultra version, and those cute green pockets tend to be really soft too. The sunglasses pocket up top for example, nice and soft and super handy for my glasses and a protein bar. The laptop protection is great. Really smooth zippers despite water resistant coating. I also liked the D ring above the water bottle pocket and used it all the time, whether to secure a water bottle or umbrella or to clip other things. I didn’t travel with it, but the luggage passthrough is horizontal to keep the bag upright which is a nice touch.
For more details, check out Aer’s website, NN has a great review but preference for a larger capacity via the CPP, Nitpacker has a good one on this 16L bag from the perspective of somebody who doesn’t need all the space of the CPP.
