Semi-translucent blue glass. Hand-painted with a prominent orange and black butterfly, small colorful flowers in a basket motif, and gold gilt accents on the rim, base, and body. Attributed to the late Victorian era (late 1800s) or early 1900s Art Nouveau period. No visible cracks,chips,or scratches. 2 years ago, I started refinishing/painting my own furniture. Going to the thrift stores for the first time looking for furniture to flip, my eye kept wandering to all vintage pottery and glass, well a lot of everything, those trips took longer and longer.
