Antique Pedestal Compote Bowl, Early American Pattern Glass - 19th Century - EAPG

Classic Early American Pattern Glass (EAPG) pressed glass Pedestal Compote with repeating large concave bullseye pattern on the bowl and foot. Gorgeous pattern, 19th century production. The patterned pedestal base was hand applied to the matching pattern bowl by the artisan with a molten round glass wafer as shown.

Stands overall 7.75 inches tall; 8.25 inches diameter. Weighs a bit over 3.5 pounds without packaging.

Perfect for displaying little pumpkins, apples or other fruit, or Christmas ornaments. I noticed a small inclusion in the glass wall of the bowl and another short indent to the interior of the bowl inner surface and included images.
