This piece is by Florida artists Ron and Lynne Magee. He went on to become a bird photographer and she did travel blogging, as far as I can tell. There are other examples of carved birds and decoys created by them in the 1980s. This unique piece measures 6” long by 5” tall by about 2” wide. The bird does swivel a little, so you can position him as you prefer. Excellent condition. There is a teeny spot of paint loss on the top of the beak visible under a loupe. No other issues.

    Hi everyone! My name is Liz, and I started watching CLL (and other reseller) videos during the pandemic, and became hooked! I started in 2022 with a few online auctions and graduated to thrift stores, and listed a few things for resale to test the waters. In late summer 2023 I decided to start ramping up and working the biz every day, and started a YouTube channel in late 2023! Just mostly having fun right now and soaking in everyone's knowledge, and learning a TON! By day I work in marketing communications for a small supplement company. For fun I do nature photography and a variety of crafts (when time allows). I love being outdoors in nature, and I apparently also love the treasure hunt aspect of visiting thrift stores!
