BLENKO 1991 One Year Only 911 Footed Tall Vase in Orchid Rare Hank Adams Design

This is a Blenko 911 footed vase in Orchid with a Crystal base. This is a one year only model, and appears only in the 1991 catalog. In my research of this piece, I could not find a picture of another example.

This vase stands 13” tall and still retains its original sticker. It is in excellent condition, with the expected occasional bubbles and slight imperfections consistent with handmade glass. It stands just slightly short of completely upright; but I believe this slight lean absolutely adds to its charm.

There is no cloudiness or sickness present. There is one tiny (1 cm) imperfection in the foot, which at first glance looks like a crack, but I can’t feel a crack with my finger. I believe it is not actually a crack, but rather a minor manufacturing defect or tool mark.

Will be packed securely in a large box with bubble wrap and packing peanuts.
