This wonderful piece was painted on sheepskin and signed “Lorenzo Cuyo.” It features a very colorful Ecuadorian pastoral scene painted in a high sheen. The painting is unframed with the hide nailed along the edges to a primitive wood stretcher. It is not completely symmetrical, making it a challenging candidate for framing. It is 6” wide and varies between 4.25” and 4.5” tall, taller on the right side.

Hi! I'm Liz. By day, I'm a veterinarian and teach at one of California's two veterinary schools. But I also have a passion for vintage glass, china, pottery, ceramics, artwork, brass, etc. I love to save these pieces from oblivion and rehome them to people who can love them. A business partner and I have a booth; but I love the Niknax community.
