Large Tag Alice in Wonderland Tea Time Inspired

This is an Alice in Wonderland inspired large tag with the words “if you’re lucky enough to be different never change”. This may not be a direct quote from the book, but it fits so well doesn't it? The quote was something I needed to hear so it really spoke to me when I created this tag.

I started with a repurposed manila file folder, the cover of an old music book with layered papers topped with vellum. The edges are sewed for a little contrast and texture.

Top layer is an image of Alice and The Mad Hatter, sewed around the edge and made to look aged with distressing ink, and with paper underneath to reinforce it. It pops up a little from the bottom layer since I added a little something behind it to rise it up a bit.

Finished with silk and words that I needed to hear at the time. Now I pass this on to you!

This tag would be beautiful framed and displayed proudly on the wall of an Alice fanatic, made into a journal cover or a keepsake if you love Alice in Wonderland. Will mail in a padded flat rate envelope.
