Details
Vinyl plays with occasional light-crackles (play-graded). Gate-fold cover has a few creases near edges; scuffing and surface impressions, slight discoloration near edges (front/back/inner-gate). Inner-sleeve is original (A&M ads). Spine is easy-to-read with mild-wear. Minor shelf-wear along top/bottom-edge; some wear to corners. Unipak opening is crisp with signs of light use. Green cover variation. (Not a cut-out.)
Greatest Hits, a compilation by Sergio Mendes and Brasil '66, features the hit single Mais, que Nada!. Mais Que Nada became the Sérgio Mendes' signature song. It was voted by the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone as the 5th greatest Brazilian song and was inducted to the Latin Grammy Hall of Fame in 2013. A reviewer on allmusic.com says, "listeners do get a good idea of how Mendes' winningly sexy blend of American female voices, simplified bossa nova rhythms, and lavish Dave Grusin orchestrations captivated mainstream America in the late '60s. Look Around receives by far the most attention, with five tracks -- which is only fitting, since in retrospect it appears to be Mendes' most irresistibly memorable album.
