Shelton #12 Block plane. Both had the end of there iron adjuster broken, but you still can adjust the iron. I believe this is a common issue with these adjusters. Patten # 1914609 in the body.
Shelton made planes from 1932-54 only, there is some history online about the company if you wanted to read about them.

Retired Archaeologist now working for city of Lexington Engineering Dept. Have been a carpenter and woodworking for some time, just switched over to hand tools several years ago. But now my health has changed, I have no kids and if Gods will, will be retiring and moving to Philippines in the next 5 Years. So I am slowly selling off tools (and other things) that I know I will not be hauling across the world. When the time comes, I may sell off more, but for now all my extras or things I bought to resale need to go....Heck I may just sell it all and not touch a tool again depending on my health in 5 years....
