Up for sale is a really nice #4 type 17 Stanley Hand plane. These were made during WWII, no nickel plating, no brass adj. nut and a little thicker metal. This one has the steel adj. nut. I have flattened the sole and sharpened the iron. It has the smooth sole and great mouth. The tote looks like it is rosewood to me, and is crack free. The knob has no cracks, but does have a chip at the base. Alaska and Hawaii message me to work out shipping cost.
