Stanley Bailey No 5 jack plane. Rosewood knob and tote are in amazing shape. I removed the old thick lacquer that they used to cover up the rosewood originally. 2" wide iron with lots of length and 14" long overall. Ready to work, sharp and the bottom flattened. Type 19 made between 1948 to 1961.
See the pictures. Very good shape overall. Japanning on the body is about 80% with most of the wear on the cheeks. Two small chips at the trailing edge of the mouth but no functional impact.
Happy to answer questions.

Long time hobby woodworker. Most of that has been as a power tool user but in the last several years I've taken up hand tools and love it. Also found that I really like putting old iron back into service.
