Up for sale is a nice Stanley hand plane. This one is a $5 type 9 as it has the 2 patent dates behind the frog and the low arch. It has 99+% Japanning left on it. It has the corrugate sole which most woodworkers prefer now and it is in great shape and has been flattened. The iron has the Q logo and has good length on it. It have sharpened the blade going through the grits up to 8000 and it is razor sharp. The tote and knob are in good shape. The tote is all there with no cracks or chips. The knob is in good shape. It had a couple of chips at the base that I cleaned up and filled and it is tight. Look at the pictures to get a good look at it. All in all a very nice 120 year old plane and ready to go to work in your shop. Message me with any questions or if you want more pictures. Alaska and Hawaii message me to work out shipping cost.
