Details

Up for sale is a nice Stanley #6 type 7 hand plane. It has the 3 pat. dates on the lateral adj. lever , S casting marks on the bed and lever cap . It has a nib on the back of the frog as will see on a type 7 that is missing the S casting mark. No Bailey info inside the brass adj. nut. It has the Q logo on the iron. This plane is in great shape and has been flattened and the blade has been sharpened. I have also lapped the chip breaker to fit the iron. The Japanning was very spotty on it so I stripped it off and paint it with 5 coats of Ford high heat engine paint. The tote and knob are crack free. The tote has had the horn shaved back as you will see on a lot of there old planes. Alaska and Hawaii message me to work out shipping.
