This charming Tonala pottery bird figurine is beautifully hand painted with intricate feather and leaf designs in shades of green, white, and orange. The bird has an artist signature on the base, though it is illegible. • Origin: Tonalá, Jalisco, Mexico • Design: Hand-painted folk art bird with tropical leaf and feather motifs, orange beak and tail, and a bold red accent eye • Size: 3.5” tall (head down) × 6” long × 3.25” wide • Condition: Excellent vintage condition – no chips or cracks. Some light discoloration present on one side (see photos).
