Details
The vase has a classic tumbler-style silhouette with a slightly tapered form that widens toward the top, creating an elegant profile that works beautifully as either a functional flower vase or a standalone decorative accent. The rim features a smooth, polished edge that contrasts nicely with the textured body. When viewed from above, the interior showcases the same beautiful pink crackle pattern, with subtle variations in color density that create a mesmerizing visual effect. This piece is from the mid-century era when crackle glass experienced significant popularity among collectors and decorators. While unmarked (as is common with many art glass pieces from this period), the quality of craftsmanship and attention to detail suggest the work of skilled artisans. The style and applied glass is very remnant of Blenko artists. The crackle effect was achieved through a specialized glass-making technique where the hot glass is immersed in cold water to create the distinctive crackling pattern before the final cooling process. Beautiful condition, no breaks, cracks or chips. It is 7.75" tall x 5" top diameter x 3.5" bottom diameter. Please see all photos for confirmation of item.
