Absolutely gorgeous! I’m fairly certain it’s a true velvet. The gal I got it from said her Lithuanian grandmother had handmade it. It does need zipper work, as well as you can some wear on the rope like cording she used to make the straps. She just knotted it, and that’s frayed. The inside has a smaller zippered pocket as well as a larger pouch. The inside is corduroy. No odors that I can smell, and I’m very sensitive to smells. Measures approx. 20 x 16 c 4. Overall, a gem!
