Vintage Honeywell Pentax SP1000 35mm SLR film camera, made in Japan by Asahi Optical Co. and distributed in the U.S. by Honeywell. Introduced in the mid-1970s, the SP1000 is part of the legendary Spotmatic series known for its reliability and fully manual operation. Features include a mechanical shutter with speeds from 1 to 1/1000 sec, TTL match-needle light metering, and an M42 screw mount compatible with Takumar lenses. Ideal for collectors or film photography enthusiasts seeking a classic, no-battery-required shooting experience.

There is no battery included, did not test. Went through the shutter speeds, all work as should, shutter cocks smoothly after each frame. It originally took a px400 but those are no longer available. Could now use, Wein Cell PX625,LR9 / 625A / PX625A, or SR44 + Adapter.

The camera body is in good shape, the form fit case does show some wear. This is the original one with the camera.

Camera is sold as is. There are no instructions or other accessories.
