Hand-embroidered Korean chasu panel depicting two women in hanbok next to a traditional gama sedan (palanquin). Bright silk threadwork over a silk ground with a few painted accents, mounted to paper. Likely mid-20th century, folk/minhwa style. Presents well with vivid color. Unframed. Full sheet approximately 18.5" × 14.25"; inner image approximately 12.75" × 10.75". A colorful, display-ready Korean textile art piece.
Some minor wear including a little bit of fraying along the edges and some foxing / spotting. No rips or tears noted. Will be shipped rolled up. Note that weights on corners of item used to hold it flat are not included. See pictures for further details on condition.
