Vintage Made in England Ceramic Lady Bust Pomander – Hand Painted Floral Figural Jar with Cork

Charming vintage ceramic bust pomander, Made in England. This lovely hand-painted piece features a serene lady’s face with flowing hair adorned in flowers, and a bodice decorated with painted blossoms.

This figural piece would have originally been used as a scent jar or pomade holder, filled with herbs, powders, or potpourri to gently perfume a room or vanity. The floral area contains small pierced holes, allowing fragrance to escape.
