ID and additional information: (from American Wooden Planes by Pollack): Peter Brooks (b. 1803) made planes in several locations in MA and the 1840 Census showed him conducting manufacturing in East Hartford, CT. By the 1850 Census he had moved back to Westfield, MA and was listed as a toolmaker.
